Organization
The Community Perinatal Network is comprised of the professionals and programs working within
the region to provide optimal perinatal healthcare to all women and children. We have quarterly
networking, liaison educational meetings, special interest taskforces, and publish periodic reports on
the health status of women and children. We collaborate with many other organizations and programs
to share data, perform needs assessments, provide education, develop standards of care, provide
forums for perinatal professionals to meet others with similar interests and develop linkages. Our goal
is to assist the community to meet the Year 2010 Objectives as set forth in Healthy People 2010.
